Now redirect your blog or any blog post to a new address. This is really helpful for those who have their address changed to some other. Its main advantage is that if you have a no of backlinks for the address then you will not lose them.
This hack is helpful for CO.CC domains as these domains loose their validity after 1 year and sometimes after getting them revalidated these don’t work for the blog you were earlier using.
So for that a new blog has to be created and that blog can be redirected using this method.
Its really simple to use this hack
1.Log in to Blogger, go to Layout -> Edit HTML
2.Now find this code:
<head>And AFTER this code, add this code:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3; url=Address where you want redirect" />And save the template.
In the above you can the change the no 3 for the time is seconds after which you want it to redirect to new one.
APPLICATIONS
1.This hack can also be used for redirecting your blog to an under construction address if you have maintenance going on you blog.
2. After modifying this hack can also be used to redirect all your blog pages except one page/blog-post. Its placement is the same as above. Code is:-
